前幾天收到 Landesamt (state Office) 的 Mahnung (reminder)(沒收過 Rechnung 就直接收 Mahnung) 說根據 § 2a Abs. 2 Satz 1 Nr. 1 StVG "wegen probezeit stoß" 要我在一星期內繳付36.5歐元罰款。
想來想去明明過去兩個月甚少駕車外出, 也沒犯什麼規條, 這36.5歐元是要罰啥啊, 又不寫清楚。
後來打電話去了解一下才知道, 原來是跟我6月衝紅燈一事有關。天啊, 那次不小心衝紅燈不是已經罰款和扣分了嗎, 怎麼隔幾個月又來一張罰單...德國政府真的這麼貪錢嗎~
原來這張罰單不單止要罰我錢還要吊銷我的駕照, 因為在德國新領的駕照是有兩年的試用期, 在試用期內如果犯較嚴重的交通規條, 駕照是會被吊銷的, 就是說要重考囉~
好在的是, 我的德國駕照雖然是新領的, 但是, 是我用我的香港駕照去換(以一換一的形式抵押)回來的, 所以不存在新領駕照及試用期這回事。
馬上寫封電郵解釋一下, 提供證明, 結案了事。
所以, 新領駕照的朋友們駕車時要小心點啊~

A few days ago I had received a Reminder from "Landesamt" (confiscated Statement directly receive Reminder) said that according to § 2a Abs. 2 Satz 1 Nr. 1 StVG "wegen probezeit stoß" I need to pay 36.5 euros fines within 1 week.
I wonder why and what should I pay for this fines. I seldom drive out and I didn't commit any Traffic Light Offences in the past 2 months .
I called the officer and found out that was related to "driving through a red light" in June. OMG, that was my careless mistake but I had already paid the penalty and demerit points. How come I would need to pay the penalty after few months again ... Is the German government really so greedy for money ~
This Reminder is not only asking for fines but also telling me that my driving license will be revoked. Because in Germany, all new driving licenses have 2 years probation, if one committed serious traffic regulations during the probationary period, his driving license will be revoked.
Luckily, this rules is not applicable on me. Although my German driving license is new but I have used my Hong Kong driving license to enchant / mortgage the German one. So there is no 2 years probation exist in my case.
Write an explanation e-mail attached with evidence to the Landesamt then close case.
